Professional Background Christina La Bue, Fine Arts

I am a practicing artist, currently based in France, specializing in painting in Buon Fresco and Encaustic Techniques. My work is inspired both by the ongoing discovery of techniques and written narratives about Ancient Roman Fresco materials and processes.

Perhaps having deep roots in Sicilian-American culture, studying in Vianella, Prato with Leonetto Tintori and staff, or countless expeditions to Pompeii, Ercolano or Stabiae, my creative expression continues to unfold.
